Saturday Islamic School

Our Saturday Islamic School is a comprehensive religious education program that welcomes children of all ages in a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment. Every Saturday, students come together to deepen their knowledge of Islam, strengthen their connection to the Quran, and develop the character and values that will guide them throughout their lives.

What students learn

  • Quran Recitation and Tajweed. Proper recitation of the Holy Quran with correct pronunciation and rules.

  • Islamic Studies. Fundamentals of Islam, Aqeedah (beliefs), and Fiqh (jurisprudence) based on Ithna Ashari teachings.

  • Islamic History. The life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Ahlul-Bayt (AS), and Islamic civilization.

  • Character Development. Developing Islamic values, manners, and ethics in everyday life.

  • Arabic Language. Introduction to the Arabic language to connect students with the Quran.

Who can enroll

Our Saturday School welcomes children of all ages, from young children just beginning their Islamic journey to older students deepening their knowledge and faith.

Youth Programs

Our youth programs are the heart of Taha Foundation. We believe that our young people deserve a space where they can grow in their faith, find their voice, and build meaningful connections with peers who share their values. Our youth programs are designed to engage, inspire, and empower Muslim youth to embrace their Islamic identity with confidence and pride.

What we offer

  • Religious Youth Programs. Regular gatherings, discussions, and activities that help our youth deepen their understanding of Islam and their connection to the Quran and Ahlul-Bayt (AS). Topics are relevant to the challenges that young Muslims face in today's world.

  • Quran and Islamic Education Circles. Small group sessions focused on Quran memorization, Islamic knowledge, and meaningful discussions about faith and identity.

  • Leadership Development. Programs designed to develop the leadership skills, confidence, and Islamic character of our youth, empowering them to be positive influences in their families, schools, and communities.

  • Community Service Projects. Opportunities for youth to give back to the community through service projects aligned with Islamic values of compassion and generosity.

  • Social Events and Activities. Fun, faith-centered social events that bring our youth together and help build lasting friendships within the community.

Sports Programs

At Taha Foundation, we believe that physical well-being is an important part of a balanced Islamic lifestyle. Our sports programs bring our youth and community together through the joy of sport, fostering teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a sense of community, all within a safe, faith-centered environment.

What we offer

  • Basketball. Organized basketball for our youth in a fun and competitive yet supportive environment. Players develop their skills, build teamwork, and form lasting friendships on and off the court.

  • Soccer. Our soccer program welcomes youth of all skill levels. Whether they are seasoned players or just starting out, everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy the beautiful game.

  • Fitness and Wellness. Physical fitness activities and programs that promote overall health and well-being in line with Islamic teachings on caring for the body.

  • Tournaments and Events. Friendly tournaments and sporting events that bring our community together and celebrate the spirit of healthy competition.
