Taha Foundation is a faith-based Shia community center serving believers across Southern California. We are a California nonprofit religious organization dedicated to providing spiritual, educational, and social services to our community in accordance with the teachings of Islam and the Ithna Ashari school of thought.
We believe that a strong community begins with strong faith, and that our youth are the foundation of our future. At Taha Foundation, we are committed to creating an environment where every member of our community, young and old, can grow in their faith, develop their character, and find a place of belonging.
Our story
From a vision to a community hub
Taha Foundation was founded by a group of dedicated community members who recognized the need for a comprehensive Islamic center that could serve the growing Muslim community across Ventura and Los Angeles counties. What began as a vision has grown into a thriving community hub offering religious education, youth programs, sports, and community services, all grounded in the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt (AS).
Today, Taha Foundation continues to grow from its home in Granada Hills, a space that allows us to expand our programs and serve even more families across Southern California for generations to come.

Taha Foundation seeks to keep our future generations on the true path of Islam based on the teachings of the Holy Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the Ahlul-Bayt (AS).

The mission of the Taha Foundation is to provide religious, educational, and holistic community development and welfare initiatives to believers, with a specific focus on youth, enabling them to find solutions to modern-day challenges through the guidance of the Quran and the Ahlul-Bayt (AS).
